Chestnut Honey

To this day, Sicilians hold true to their ancient honey-making traditions. Sicilian honey is of high quality, and quite particular due the main source of the honeybees' nectar – the plethora of the island's citrus fruit crops. Blossoms from other trees, in this case chestnut, are also used. This is an amber-hued, very dense and crystalline honey of the highest quality.
