Earrings, Ballaro' Market (MBO1)

These earrings were inspired by one of Cristina's visits to the famous Palermo marketplace known as Ballarò. In the Middle Ages every district of the city of Balarm (Palermo) had its own market, today there are only three of these traditional markets left. A walk through these "mercati" is a compelling sensory experience, and these particular pieces reflects the vibrant colors of the many fresh fruits and vegetables seen throughout the streets of Ballaro'.
