Necklace, Carretto Siciliano (CSC1)

The pendant and the rings of this necklace are made of cardboard, decorated with artistic details inspired by a traditional hand-painted Sicilian "carretto" or cart. The beads are made with the same paper, depicting a clash between Arab and Christian knights. Today authentic Sicilian carts are very rare, and remain a cherished treasure of Sicilian artistic history. Item #CSC1
